Ham Hash Brown Casserole

This is a versatile recipe. It can be a side dish or a main dish and prepared with or without meat. If you use Potatoes O’Brien (Ore-Ida is gluten-free), you can skip chopping an onion yourself. Great freezer meal. Just mix it together and freeze it till you want to bake it.

Ham Hash Brown Casserole

2lb bag frozen hash browns (diced potatoes or shredded potatoes, or use Potatoes O’Brien: diced potatoes with onions and green pepper)
1 small onion (diced)
1 prepared recipe cream of chicken soup (See Soup section)
2 cups cheddar
2 cups sour cream
2 cups diced ham (This tastes great with cubed dinner ham)

Mix frozen potatoes in a large bowl with onion, soup, cheese and sour cream. Bake in a 9×13 casserole dish at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes. It should be browned and bubbly.
