Now here is my version of homemade chicken alfredo.
3-4 Chicken breasts
3 cups frozen broccoli (optional)
1 small can mushrooms
1 1/4 cup chicken broth (or stock)
1/4 cup rice flour
1/3 cup cream cheese
3 Tbsp shredded parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp parsley
1 small box of GF pasta (I used DeBole’s GF spirals)
Cook and cube chicken. Heat chicken broth in a sauce pan and whisk in flour. Add cream cheese and stir until melted. Add parmesan cheese, mushrooms and parsley. Stir in chicken. Boil noodles as directed and add frozen broccoli. When both noodles and broccoli are cooked, drain and add the sauce. Stir together and serve!
Check out your local store (or better yet, tell the manager what they need to order for you!) for some of these new products. My dream is to find everything I want and need at one store!!! I know, I know, not going to happen right now, but I feel I’m getting closer all the time.
Gluten-free pop tarts! This was actually really good and I’m not a huge pop tart fan. I found this at the commissary on the base here.
Now I LOVE finding gluten-free products at a regular grocery store, instead of making a trip to the health food store. Today I’m going to share with you a few new products I’ve found at local grocery stores.
I found this in the hot cereal section at Walmart.
This is a new Walmart store brand of macaroni.
I found this at Sam’s Club.
